Trained Drug Dogs - Proven Results
An attorney who attempts to discredit a dog trained by our facility will actually be attacking a system of training narcotics detection dogs that has been in existence for over 30 years and has trained over 10,000 dog teams for the U.S. Customs Service and teams throughout the world. This system has been recognized in courts nationwide as a proper method of training drug dogs.
Positive Response Canines trains extremely high drive, strong hunt, retrieve dogs that perform their jobs in a very fast and efficient manner.  They are trained to give independent responses on airborne narcotic odors without cues from the handler. The drug dogs are taught to perform detailed searches when it is required.
Both passive response and aggressive response dogs are trained, with emphasis on aggressive response to meet U.S. Customs standards.
A copy of all veterinary records is provided with dog purchases. PRC has an 'open door policy' for any drug dog originally trained by us. Free, one day refresher classes are available by appointment.

A well trained handler is key in maintaining a high performance drug dog.

All training at Positive Response Canines is documented with the proper paperwork to show the credibility of the training that the team receives. Teams are tested at the end of the handler school with a written test as well as being tested in a certification that is based entirely on U.S. Customs criteria. This method of certification testing has been acknowledged in courts as one of the most reliable methods there is.

K-9 Drug team and over $91,000 found by Toby
Attached is a pic of the money we were able to seize thanks to Toby. Toby was deployed on a 2009 Jeep Laredo after I observed several indicators of criminal activity.  After observing the indicators I attempted to obtain consent to search the vehicle but was unable to get consent to search the vehicle.  Toby gave a positive response on the vehicle.  The search revealed $91,060 in a suit case in the cargo area.  During the investigation Toby also gave a positive response on the monies seized.
Thanks again for the training and for Toby.
